Opened in 1908, Splendid Palace reflects a distinctive East–West architectural synthesis. While subtly inspired by Art Nouveau, the hotel’s design is defined by its luminous inner courtyard surrounded by elegant columns, around which the rooms are gracefully arranged.

The hotel features 41 rooms and 9 suites, accommodating up to 130 guests. Most rooms include balconies, and all sea-view rooms are equipped with modern comforts such as private bathrooms, television, and telephone. The restaurant, with a capacity of 120 guests outdoors and 90 indoors, offers a refined selection of both Turkish and international cuisine.

Since its opening, the hotel has remained under the ownership of the same family and is now lovingly managed by the sixth generation, preserving its heritage as a cherished family tradition. It holds the distinction of being the only hotel in Turkey classified as a first-degree historical monument that continues to operate in faithful adherence to its original character.

Nestled among trees and surrounded by lush gardens, the swimming pool is a natural extension of the hotel’s harmonious design. Owing to its remarkable historical and cultural legacy, Splendid Palas is among the select few hotels granted special status by the Turkish Ministry of Tourism.
